It will depend on how your account is set up with Avis. The Avis app will follow the current rules set up between Avis and your business or company. If you have your own unique personal profile, then the Avis app will work as normal. However, it is not designed for a generic business profile used for multiple drivers.

Yes, if your company has set up a corporate account with us. Through this account, your company can provide employees with an ACTO (Avis Company Travel Order), which is a special voucher that is handed over when a hire vehicle is collected.

We offer you a couple of ways to pay to make it easy. You can pay online now or pay on collection and we'll charge you at the end of the hire. The choice is yours.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners/Discover debit, credit or charge cards. There are a few exceptions: One credit card and one debit card may be required at the counter for higher-value vehicles in the UK. You can't use a debit card in Iceland and Canada. We don't accept cards with Solo, JCB or Cirrus logos – even if they carry the Visa or MasterCard logo. Germany issued Maestro cards are only accepted in Germany. If you booked online using a PREPAID card, it must be shown at the counter along with another payment card. Two payment cards may be required at the counter for higher-value vehicles; if you've booked online, or over the phone, this will be highlighted on your booking confirmation.

PREPAID cards are accepted online however they are not accepted at the counter which means a non-PREPAID card must be shown at the rental station (together with the PREPAID card). A PREPAID card can be used to pay for the rental at the end of the vehicle hire. Please refer to our location specific terms and conditions for additional information on payment options. Remember, the name on the card must match the driving licence of the main driver. Someone else can't pay on your behalf. And don't forget to bring your payment card when you collect your rental.

You can either pay for your vehicle when you book online, or when you collect your hire vehicle. If you choose to pay when you book online, we’ll dip/swipe your card to gain authorisation. An ACTO (Avis Company Travel Order) is a special voucher businesses give to staff so they can hire a vehicle with us. Simply show your ACTO, driving licence and company ID when you collect your hire vehicle and we'll invoice your company directly. These vouchers can't be used for online bookings.

Remember to bring your credit card when you pick up your hire vehicle. This must be in the same name as the main driver, and the same card used to create your booking.

If you have prepaid for your voucher directly with Avis, it's not a problem. You can still collect your hire car. Just be sure to bring all of the other required identification and documentation, including the credit card used to make your booking.
If it is a voucher from a travel agent or third party agency however, we need to see the voucher before you can drive your hire car away.

A fixed value voucher only covers hire fees up to a certain amount so you'll need to provide a payment card in the name of the driver and pay for any extra costs not covered by the voucher. A full credit voucher covers the entire hire, however much it costs. You can pick up a fixed value voucher from a travel agent. Please note that full credit vouchers are only available for business rentals through a corporate travel agent in the UK.
